Drift Creek Falls Trail Hike

Drift Creek Falls Trail has become a very popular spot on the central Oregon Coast, and for good reason. This 3 mile round trip hike gives hikers a bird’s eye view of Drift Creek Falls waterfall from a 250′ long suspension bridge approx 100′ high in elevation. From the suspension bridge you get to see the waterfall from eye level. You may also hike across the bridge and down to the water for a different perspective. There’s a pick-nick table across the suspension bridge if you’d like to bring a lunch and enjoy the scenery, as it’s definitely worth staying awhile. We suggest starting early as the parking lot can fill up early during the summer months. The trail is well maintained and open year round.

Difficulty

This is an easy to moderate hike on a well maintained trail. It is considered an Oregon Coast hike, although it is approx 14 miles SE of Lincoln City.

Location:

From Lincoln City head south on HWY 101 and turn left and go east on Drift Creek Road, turn left on Forest Service Road 17 to trail-head. It’s approx 14 miles from the south end of Lincoln City.

Fees

A valid recreational pass is required. You can purchase a day pass at the park for $5.00, or purchase a pass online here.
